What is TargetFlo Communications?
TargetFlo Communications is the SMS and email broadcast layer of HIPAA-aware ABA software. It sends texts through RingCentral and email through Resend to audiences built from your client and employee records, runs a PHI guard on every SMS, and logs delivery per recipient. PHI guard on SMS
Before an SMS sends, TargetFlo scans for names, diagnoses, dates of birth, insurance IDs, and clinical language — and blocks or flags the message.
Audience segments
Guardians by location, staff by role, enrolled families, or a hand-picked list. Segments are built from the client and employee records you already have.
Templates
Weather closure, holiday schedule, document reminder, training due — reviewed once, reused with merge fields that are PHI-safe by design.
Delivery logs
Who received what, when, and whether it was delivered. Every broadcast is logged for compliance review.

Live todaySMS is not encrypted. The PHI guard assumes that.
Texting is the fastest way to reach a parent and the easiest way to leak protected health information. TargetFlo scans every SMS before it sends and treats clinical language, identifiers, and insurance data as stop signs.
- Detects names paired with clinical terms, dates of birth, diagnoses, insurance member IDs, and medication references
- Flags show the exact phrase and the reason so the sender can rewrite in seconds
- Blocks stop the send entirely for high-confidence PHI
- Merge fields are limited to non-PHI values such as first name, location, and time
- Guard results are recorded on the delivery log for compliance review
